2016 Riesling Auslese
This Riesling gurgles to you with all the delight of a baby playing peekaboo. Medium yellow-gold with aromatics of candied lemon, walnuts, peaches, Bartlett pears, cherry juice and vanilla. Soft, creamy orange juice without the over-acid on the taste. This special wine combines energy with delicacy.

Production notes
Picked along-side of the Beerenauslese grapes, here we used all the clean fruit for the Auslese style. Destemmed, crushed and sent to the basket press. Colled in SS tank then racked twice before warming for feremntation. Started on it’s wild yeast then helped with commercial yeasts. Finished on its fine lees for eight months before setup for bottling.
