2016 Riesling Spatlese
To create this Spätlese, our team selected perfect clusters, then got out of the way to allow unique flavors that are already there to develop fully. Cream honey, apricot jam with orange blossom on the nose. A symphony of lime, peach, sweetness with perfect back palate acid for a long finish. These vines are at home.

Production notes
Second from last picking in the Riesling Block brought in perfect clusters at 22 brix. Destemmed and crushed before basket pressed. Cool temps during fermentation to extend the process then adjusted to very cold temp at the perfect balance to create this Spätlese. Another six months on its fine lees before final prep for bottling.
